John Hartman teaches Communication Design and a number of industrial design courses in the Segal Design Institute. He was previously Industrial Design Lead at Lunar Design.

Craig teaches Designing Product Interactions and advises students and teams in the EDI and MMM programs. Craig is founder of the product design and innovation company TBD Innovation, and co-founder of the tangible social media venture Venn Labs.
Michael Saubert is a visionary multi-disciplinary industrial designer and creative director, boasting an illustrious career spanning over three decades. With an extraordinary ability to transform ideas into tangible creations, he has left an indelible mark on diverse fields, from mobile app design to household appliances.
Amy co-teaches Thesis Studio. She is a cognitive psychologist who was previously the global design research lead for the health practice at IDEO. Currently, she consults as a Principal at Empathic Innovation and serves as a mentor at MATTER, the Chicago health-tech incubator.
Elisa Vargas teaches Service Design. Currently, she leads the global user experience design practice as design director at Motorola Mobility.
Helen von den Steinen teaches Product Design Studio and Design Research. She was previously a Research and Development Principal Scientist at Procter & Gamble.
