About

Jesse Wilbur is the VP, Interaction Design at global innovation and design consultancy IA Collaborative, where he leads teams to deliver impactful business strategy and breakthrough digital products. He champions human-centered innovation through systematic and accessible design solutions.

Prior to joining IA, Jesse held a number of leadership roles at internationally recognized experience design agencies: R/GA, Razorfish, and Rightpoint. He has specialized in ecommerce experience strategy and design, working with clients like Abercrombie & Fitch, Target, Tiffany & Co., Barnes & Noble, and CDW on platforms that deliver billions in revenue, as well as designing and launching products for clients in financial services, logistics, healthcare, and tech.

Jesse is grateful to be co-teaching with Tom Quish and Susan Curtis as an adjunct in the EDI program. Additionally, Jesse has taught graduate level classes at Parsons School of Design, and been a guest lecturer at FIT in New York, and at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. He holds a MS in Information Science from UNC Chapel Hill School of Information and Library Science, and a BA in Politics from Wake Forest University.

Beyond work and teaching, Jesse is an avid barbecue fan and home cook, and a maturing (read: slowing) triathlete who has completed over 25 triathlons and 6 half-marathons, the NYC Marathon, and the Wisconsin Ironman.
