Electives
Electives allow you to dive deeper in your Areas of Interest as you journey through the EDI program.
EDI students are required to take five units of elective coursework. At least two of these courses must be at the 400-level. A proposal for an independent study must be submitted by the student and approved by a sponsoring faculty supervisor and the Associate Director of the EDI program.
EDI students can explore a variety of perspectives on design, communications, and management through elective courses from the McCormick School of Engineering, the Kellogg School of Management, the Medill School of Journalism, Media, and Integrated Marketing Communications, and the Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
