Design Coaches
Design Coaches are temporary positions designed specifically for classes within the Segal Design Institute.
These positions are reserved for terminal graduate students affiliated with the Segal Design Institute to provide an experience that fuses academia with design-centered professional experience.
As Design Coaches, graduate students make a direct impact on undergraduate classes. A Design Coach will attend every class session and mainly assist with the classroom operations. Other duties will vary from class to class, per the needs of the instructor. All Design Coaches will be paid on an hourly basis and should expect to work between 6-8 hours per week up to a maximum of 80 hours for the academic quarter.
The courses that hire Design Coaches vary from term to term. Applicants should have a design portfolio.
