Design Coaches

Design Coaches are paid positions designed specifically for classes within the Segal Design Institute.

These positions are geared toward providing terminal graduate students affiliated with Segal Design Institute an experience that fuses academia with design-centered professional experience.

As Design Coaches, graduate students to make a direct impact on undergraduate classes. A Design Coach will attend every class session and/or offer office hours in order to advise student teams on their project work. Other duties will vary from class to class. All Design Coaches should expect to work between 6-8 hours per week up to a maximum of 80 hours for the academic quarter. 

Most Design Coach roles pay approximately $18/hour.

The courses that hire Design Coaches vary from term to term.
