Ethan Torain, EDI '27Consumer Products, Physical Product Design

About

Ethan is driven by designing thoughtful, human-centered solutions bridging form, function, and experience. He is especially drawn to creating physical products that create interaction in community and solve everyday problems inclusively. With a foundation in industrial design and a deep interest in how people interact with the objects around them, Ethan approaches design as both a technical and emotional practice. He believes that the most impactful consumer products are well-made and meaningful—products that quietly enhance daily life. Through the EDI program, he hopes to continue growing as a designer who builds with intention, collaborates with curiosity, and creates purposefully.
