About
Liying enjoys working in a collaborative and challenging environment. Her internship as visual designer at Design Experience team, Art Institute of Chicago brings her to the world of UI/UX. Later, working as full time graphic designer at a technology consultant corporation, she was working collaboratively with various engineer teams both national and international. She believes empathy and human-centered solutions are the keys to a successful design. With a background in fine arts, She aims to create a human-centered, yet visually bold design in her work. She is also passionate about hinging on complex relationships to cultivate joyful designs that make life simpler.
Why EDI?
Liying chose EDI because of its concentration in human-centered design. She is excited about the various disciplines offered in this program, which boost her passion for pursuing knowledge from multiple fields. Liying believes EDI can advance her skills and fulfill her career goals regarding UI/UX and product design.
