Howard LeeProduct Manager, Google

About

Born as a son of a toymaker, Howard always had curiosities of how products can invoke joy and even improve the human condition. Preserving that dose of whimsy and now trained as an engineer and a designer, Howard has dedicated his life to building products that make “good” use of technology.

In his journey so far, his experience spans across healthcare, consumer hardware, and the youth space. The pursuit of finding compelling unmet needs continue to propel him forward, and thus far, he has found himself incubating new technology or many 0-to-1 projects where he has helped ship everything from the iPhone, a digital wellness platform, Chromebooks, an Alzheimer's prevention wearable, all the way to a search engine for doctors and a gamified fitness wearable for kids.

Currently, he serves as a senior product manager at Google on the Android Consumer team. Previously, Howard has spent time at Apple, Noom, Oliver Wyman, Samsung. Howard deems his studies at Northwestern pursuing a Master’s of Engineering Design & Innovation as a critical inflection point that shaped his principles as a builder for humans.
