About
Julian finds value in creating both effective and beautiful designs. He believes in designing for the individual and truly solving their problems at their root. He believes that intimate conversation and discovery of ones needs and problems with a product or process can allow for the discovery of ultimate design. Even so, a lot of his perspective is drawn from passive observation of the world, sketching and notetaking in the hopes of creating something better.

Why EDI?
Julian came from an architecture background and was constantly absorbed in how he could make digital building tools better, along this process of discovery he realized an entire field (EDI) existed for this passion. He was then drawn to pursuing a masters at Northwestern in order to make real impact on the future of design tools and practices.
