He believes that the rich potential of technology needs to be made accessible to everyone in order to make the world a better place. He aims to become an innovator and a thought-leader, by using the rich insights that he gathers from his experiences into conceptualizing the best designs for users.

Why EDI?
With the guidance of Northwestern's specialization in User Experience and Social Impact, Sounak hopes to become a proficient designer that makes people’s lives easier by leveraging empathy and technology to address critical societal issues. His experiences from growing up in India has motivated him to make information and technology more inclusive, accessible, and user-friendly.
