About

Enes Umur is always interested in solving human problems with a combination of engineering and design. He strengthened his analytical and aesthetic skills in mechanical design during his undergraduate career at Istanbul Technical University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a BS in mechanical engineering. After college, he has worked for a high-tech company to design and innovate state-of-the-art products. He joins the EDI program as a scholar selected by the Turkish Fulbright Commission to study at Northwestern University.

Why EDI?

Enes Umur would like to combine his engineering and design skills to create innovative solutions and useful products for real life problems. Therefore, instead only studying engineering or only studying design, he was thrilled to find the exact program for his interdisciplinary goal in EDI.
