Bailey DuBoe, EDI '28Consumer Products, Product Strategy, Inclusive Design

About

Bailey thrives on turning complex systems into experiences that feel intuitive, useful, and human. With a background spanning technology, strategy, and user-centered design, she is especially interested in how emerging technologies can be developed responsibly and thoughtfully. Through the EDI program, Bailey hopes to strengthen her ability to create solutions that make everyday life easier and more accessible for the people who use them.

Why EDI?

For Bailey, design engineering begins where analytical thinking meets creative discovery. Rather than just processing numbers, her studies in abstract mathematics taught her to thrive in ambiguity, uncover hidden patterns, and give concrete shape to dense concepts.Throughout her career, she has worked closely with engineers, designers, and end users to bridge the gap between technical possibilities and real human needs.

She chose Northwestern's EDI program because it combines technical problem-solving with human-centered design. The program offers an opportunity to build on her experience in strategy while developing products and services that create meaningful impact in people's lives.
