About
Yaritza's interest in design stemmed from her previous experience in service design as an undergraduate. She saw design as an opportunity to merge her passion for community service and her background in engineering to aid marginalized communities. Yaritza wishes to further develop her skill set to learn how to tackle social issues using ethical design practices.
Why EDI?
Yaritza chose EDI for its focus on human-centered design practices. While focusing on the intersection of design and social impact, she hopes to utilize her skills to design more inclusive experiences for users.
