Why EDI?

Jerry decided to pursue EDI after diversifying his design background and experience in the automotive industry; he learned that meaningful innovation requires collaboration across disciplines. While designing vehicle experiences, he learned that successful human-centered products require close collaboration among designers, engineers, researchers, strategists, and business leaders. The EDI program offers the interdisciplinary environment Jerry is seeking to expand beyond his current design skill set, by learning alongside talented individuals from different disciplines, and strengthening his ability to communicate and collaborate across disciplines. Through EDI, Jerry hopes to become a more holistic product innovator who can connect design, engineering, and strategy.
