Anna is consistently drawn to tackling unfamiliar problems. Whether she's teaching herself a new creative skill, building a product from scratch, or untangling a complex system, she embraces the uncertainty that comes with learning something new. Her approach to human-centered design combines systems thinking with empathy, believing the best solutions emerge through collaboration, experimentation, and a willingness to embrace uncertainty. At EDI, Anna hopes to strengthen her design practice while learning alongside people with diverse perspectives. She aspires to create thoughtful products, services, and experiences that help people navigate complexity with ease.

Why EDI?
Anna chose EDI because it builds on the type of design work she has discovered a passion for while encouraging her to explore new disciplines. Although her experience has primarily been in digital design through IT consulting, she is excited by the opportunity to learn about physical product design and human services design. She hopes the program will help her discover which areas of design she finds most fulfilling as she shapes her future career.
