About

Anastazja is a mechanical engineer with a passion for blending creativity and technical precision. She’s especially drawn to the spaces where design becomes both expressive and functional, whether that’s through engineering solutions or painting in her free time. Her approach to design is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a desire to create experiences that are both practical and centered around the people they serve. Anastazja sees human-centered design as a process of deep listening and thoughtful iteration. Through the EDI program, she hopes to grow as a design engineer and contribute to innovative, human-centered solutions that shape more sustainable and imaginative futures.

Why EDI?

Anastazja was drawn to the EDI program for its unique integration of design thinking within engineering practice. With experience in both technical development and creative expression, she sought a program that recognizes the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and human-centered design. Her interest in this field developed through her experiences in product design, hands-on prototyping, and visual storytelling—each revealing the importance of designing with intention and empathy. EDI’s emphasis on innovation, ethics, and adaptability aligns with her goal of shaping sustainable, experience-driven solutions that serve both people and the planet.
