As a designer and engineer, Ibrahima enjoys the nitty-gritty of the design process, focusing on practical solutions that seamlessly fit into users' lives. Ibrahima is a problem solver and thrives on the satisfaction of checking off boxes in a problem’s success criteria. In the EDI program, he’s looking to expand his skills in manufacturing and 3D modeling, while also learning about marketing and product delivery to consumers. He’s passionate about tackling complex projects that push the boundaries of problem-solving.

Why EDI?
Ibrahima's decision to pursue EDI stems from his undergraduate experience, where he pursued the Segal Design Certificate at Northwestern University. Through various design classes and projects, he found himself both challenged and motivated to produce tangible results. The stimulating environment fueled his passion for design. The Ford building, equipped with all the necessary tools and resources, seems like the perfect place to cultivate his skills and pursue a career in product design. The balance between research, computer work, and hands-on building and iteration offered by the EDI program resonates with his preferences, making it the ideal choice for him.
