About
Mitul Patel is an engineer, entrepreneur, and innovator with over 20 years of product development experience spanning consumer, industrial, medical, and automotive markets. Mitul began his career designing cutting-edge mobile devices at Motorola and Google, supporting worldwide manufacturing operations and building a portfolio of over 10 patents.
In 2015, Mitul founded MP Consulting, LLC, a product development and engineering consultancy where he leads global teams across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. Over the past 11 years, he has scaled MPC to over 130 employees, shipped more than 100 products, and established an innovation center in India. In 2020, drawing on deep volume manufacturing expertise and over 25 trips to China, Mitul founded A Making Company, LLC, a domestic product assembly and wire harness operation that has tripled its floor space within 18 months.
Mitul's most personal endeavor is the Aarush M. Patel Foundation, established in 2021 in memory of his son. The foundation advances Maternal Fetal Medicine and Fertility through technology development, data analytics, and institutional research at Northwestern University and UIUC. The foundation's mission now anchors Mitul's broader vision across all his ventures.
Mitul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
