About

Connie Meyer is a facilitator, mediator, and coach with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of alternative dispute resolution. She brings extensive experience supporting

managers and executives – leaders from Bank of America, Deloitte, L’Oréal, ExxonMobil, Walt Disney, Johnson & Johnson, and beyond – to build effective negotiation, communication, and influence skills.  Her work draws on those leaders’ experience putting negotiation theory into practice across a wide variety of industries, functions, and opportunities.

Connie is twice-certified as a mediator and underwent advanced negotiation and mediation training at Harvard Law School. She logged hundreds of hours as a mediator for Chicago’s Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR), has frequently served as a coach for mediators-in-training, and teaches Mediation Skills at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies.  In 2022, Connie earned the School of Professional Studies’ Distinguished Teaching Excellence Award.

Currently, Connie’s primary day-to-day focus is designing and delivering excellent learning and development strategies as Director of Learning at Chicago non-profit Interfaith America (IA).  As part of this work, she has designed learning for Google’s global workforce and supports corporate HR leaders to develop strategies and skills for navigating religious diversity across their organizations.
