Jeff Meredith joined Chamberlain Group in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer and assumed the role of Chamberlain Group’s Chief Executive Offer in 2021, after the company joined the Blackstone portfolio. Chamberlain Group is a multi-national corporation, the market leader in smart access solutions powered by myQ® software, and manufacturer of prominent hardware brands such as LiftMaster®, Chamberlain®, Merlin® and Grifco®.
Under Jeff’s leadership, Chamberlain Group has transformed from an access hardware company to an access technology company. Jeff blends a robust background in engineering, sales, and marketing, well-suited to leading Chamberlain Group during this exciting and pivotal period of growth. Prior to joining Chamberlain Group, Jeff was SVP & General Manager of Lenovo’s Consumer Business Unit. In this global role he was responsible for the P&L, Product Portfolio and Marketing all Consumer products including PCs, Tablets, Gaming, AR/VR, and Smart Home. Jeff previously held executive leadership roles at Lenovo including VP & GM of Android & Chrome Business Group, VP & GM of the Tablet Business Unit and VP Marketing for Americas, Europe, Japan and ANZ. Prior to joining Lenovo, Jeff served as VP Global Marketing and Product Development at Imation/3M, and VP of Worldwide Marketing at Lexmark International.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University. He is married with three children, is an avid basketball fan and resides in the Chicagoland area.
