About
Mark Livshots is an adjunct lecturer who has been co-teaching Designing Your Life since 2022. In addition to teaching, Mark works as a therapist in private practice at Lakeshore Psychotherapy Group, seeing individuals and couples for counseling. Mark specializes in working with people affected by cancer and chronic pain, as well as aging concerns. Mark especially enjoys working with issues of finding meaning and purpose and has supported clients as they confront their mortality and navigate end-of-life concerns. Before private practice, Mark worked at Cancer Wellness Center, a nonprofit that provides counseling to those impacted by a cancer diagnosis. He is also currently a Retreat Facilitator for Reel Recovery, a nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic fly-fishing retreats for men with cancer, free of charge.
