Mike Hyzy

About

For over a decade, Mike Hyzy has built his career at the intersection of product development, AI strategy, and human behavior, creating technology that drives measurable outcomes for Fortune 500 organizations. He currently serves as Vice President of AI Strategy and Product Development at CGI, where he leads Product Studio, CGI's dedicated product management and development services arm.

Mike's career began at a nonprofit in Chicago, where he founded Crisp! Mobile Grocery, the first mobile grocer in Chicago to accept SNAP benefits and the second in the nation. That venture earned him recognition as a Top 40 Under 40 Social Entrepreneur from American Express and first place in the Irish Impact pitch competition at the University of Notre Dame. From there, he founded a data analytics company using retail sales data to create affordable healthy meal plans before joining Life Fitness, where he led the creation and global launch of Halo Fitness Cloud, a gym management platform, exerciser app, and developer suite that transformed how fitness facilities engage with members. At healthcare startup Caremerge, he shipped three revenue-driving features in under a year to help secure additional funding.

Since transitioning to consulting, Mike has worked exclusively at the intersection of data science, product management, and AI, partnering with Fortune 500 executive teams on product strategy, machine learning adoption, and IT operating model transformation. He developed the Accelerated AI Adoption Framework and the DIAMONDS Method for AI product development, both now used across CGI.

A published author and keynote speaker, Mike wrote Gamification for Product Excellence and contributes regularly to Forbes Technology Council, Built In, and Mind the Product. He co-founded the Chicago Futures Salon, an invitation-only community that brings corporate executives and academic leaders together using surrealist, situationist, and futurist techniques to explore possible futures. He has guest lectured at DePaul University, the University of Notre Dame, and Roosevelt University, where he was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees.
