About
Will is a General Partner at Venture Studio, where he spearheads Fortune 500 corporate innovation initiatives across a range of strategic verticals. He focuses on nascent technologies, such as generative AI, web3, AR/VR/XR, and longevity, with a special emphasis on zero-to-one initiatives that transform ideas into viable products.
In addition to his role at Venture Studio, Will serves as co-founder and General Partner of Adventure Fund, a generalist fund that invests in early-stage and high-growth startups. His portfolio includes investments in Mercury, Acquire, Plaid, Collective, SpaceX, beehiiv, and many others.
Before his current roles, Will founded and exited three successful technology companies, raising capital from a wide range of investors (including angel, accelerator, institutional, and strategic/corporate investors). He has been profiled in Inc Magazine and MIT Technology Review.
His first company, ChemiSense, used proprietary chemical sensing technology paired with artificial intelligence to create high-quality indoor air quality monitors. Major customers included Daikin, Honeywell, Ford, General Motors, and Hyundai. As co-founder and COO, Will oversaw the growth of the company from idea to mass manufacturing overseas, culminating in the company’s acquisition by Kaiterra.
Will's second company, Niche, built social marketplaces around verticalized consumer hobbies (e.g. music, e-sports, etc) and was acquired by Opera Event. His most recent company, Fur Insure, sold pet insurance through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and was acquired by Northwestern Mutual.
