Peter CivettaLecturer, The Cook Family Writing Program

About

Peter directs Northwestern’s Office of Undergraduate Research, helping students learn how to get started and navigate the often confusing world of research.  The office provides well over $1.25 million a year to students, especially focusing on helping them to do independent research and/or creative projects across all fields of study.  Peter’s work also focuses on teaching students how to write successful grant proposals.

Peter’s scholarship focus on religion and performance, namely around preaching across different faith traditions.  He is also the artistic director of the non-profit children’s theater, the Extraordinarily Sophisticated Imagination Club.
