Stephanie Boron

About

Stephanie mentors thesis students in the MS EDI program. She brings a human-centered, accessibility-driven perspective to design. She is a practicing speech-language pathologist and an Assistant Clinical Professor in The School of Communication at Northwestern University.

Her work examines how systems and design shape communication and accessibility. Centering neurodivergent experience, she designs tools and therapeutic approaches that increase access across education, healthcare, and community contexts.

Beyond her academic and clinical roles, Stephanie runs @BeMeSpeech, an advocacy and educational platform focused on communication access and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
