About

Ben Blount is a Detroit-born artist, designer, and letterpress printer who loves books, type, and putting ink on paper. He is a believer in the power of the printed word and shares his passion for print and graphic design by speaking to students and educators around the country. He is best known for work that explores questions of race and identity and the stories we tell ourselves about living in America. You can often find him creating at MAKE, his storefront studio in Evanston’s West Village neighborhood.

Ben is also an Associate Creative Director at Razorfish Health in Chicago, working with healthcare providers and patients to make better connections for better outcomes. He has over 20 years of experience in graphic design and advertising using insight and honesty to make inspired connections between people.
