As part of our One McCormick Series, which seeks to build community and connectivity atNorthwestern Engineering, our next short seminar will be focused on GradSWE and the Women in Science and Research (WISER). GradSWE isthe graduate student faction of the Northwestern Society of Women Engineers and is focused on providing networking events, mentorship and outreach opportunities, and career development which cater to graduate women in engineering and science. WISER aims to provide community and support for advancing women in all STEM fields at Northwestern and beyond.

Join us at the Fall 2025 DTC Expo to see how first-year engineering students have collaborated with community partners to solve real-world design challenges! Explore their creative solutions and engage with student teams as they present their work. The Expo will take place on the Ground Floor and Basement of the Ford Building, with presentations running from 9:30-11:30am and 1:30-3:30pm. We hope to see you there!
