Why did you choose MMM?
When I began my Kellogg application, I had no idea the MMM Program even existed. My first visit to campus was on Preview Day, where I had the privilege of touring with Mary Buckingham, a first-year MMM student at the time and now a second-year. She introduced me to the program’s unique approach, and from that moment on, I was intrigued. After diving into my own research, I realized MMM was exactly what I needed. With my engineering background and innate curiosity, courses like Research Design Build and Whole-Brain Thinking felt tailor-made for my interests. Beyond academics, MMM has also given me an incredible, supportive community, something I’m excited to foster and carry out well beyond my two years at Kellogg.
What is life like as a MMM student?
Life as a MMM student is both exciting and fast-paced. There’s always something happening, whether it’s small group dinners, large organized events, casual hangouts, or coffee chats. Beyond the vibrant social scene, there’s always an assignment due, often accompanied by group projects that keep you collaborating and learning. Much of our time is spent in the MMM Lounge, sharing snacks, exchanging ideas, and learning from one another. Around the Global Hub, you’ll often find MMM students gathered in close-knit groups, never too far from each other. It truly feels like being part of a large, supportive family.
What have you loved about your MMM experience?
I’ve loved the community that I’ve been able to build within the MMM cohort. I’ve created friendships within this program that I know will last a lifetime and that’s been the most important part to me.
