Why did you choose MMM?
I chose MMM for its unique blend of human-centered design, innovation, and business education—exactly the holistic skill set I need to pivot from strategy consulting into Product Management at a sustainable apparel tech company (e.g., resale, rental, materials recycling). MMM builds on my experience in brand and business strategy, bringing me closer to product and end users while deepening my expertise in user research, sustainability, and supply chain. It also provides the space to experiment and apply these skills hands-on, whether through courses like Equity Design Research and Commercializing Innovation or as a Garage Tinkerer, working on startups. More than just skill-building, MMM offers the connections and experiences that will help me move toward my long-term goal of launching a sustainable fashion incubator.
What is life like as a MMM student?
A beautiful chaos. Between building connections, recruiting, class, extracurriculars, and basic life maintenance (working out, meal planning), you will have so much vying for your time and energy. All of it will show you what really matters to you and grow you.
What have you loved about your MMM experience?
I have loved getting to know my peers or faMMM, who are a warm, funny, smart, talented, ambitious, collaborative motley of people from all different professional and personal backgrounds. From small group dinners (SGDs) to Chicago Sky games to weekend excursions to Guatemala to game nights to in-classroom banter, they make this experience fun and growing.
