Manogna LekkalapudiJob before MMM: Digital Marketer

Why did you choose MMM?

I took a few design thinking classes a couple of years back and thought that it was a transformative approach to problem-solving. After speaking to MMM alumni, I learned that the program adds an extra dimension of empathetic and user-centered perspective to your management skills, bringing together both the EQ and the IQ elements of analytical thinking. I was also very excited about the courses in the curriculum.

What has been your favorite Kellogg/MMM memory?

When the whole MMM class was on Slack at 2 AM before the business analytics exam exchanging hilarious memes!

What stands out about the MMM program?

What stands out the most to me is the experiential learning aspect of the curriculum. The work is very hands-on, making it extremely easy to internalize and re-apply in other MBA projects.

What is your favorite Evanston/Chicago activity?

Dinners at Chicago’s world-class restaurants to get to know Kellogg peers.

What do you like to do for fun?

Hang out with friends or dancing.

If you could have lunch with anyone, who would it be and what would you order?

Assuming I can turn back time: Richard Feynman and probably some Italian dish.

What is your favorite book and why?

Cosmos. This book ties evolution, physics, philosophy, and psychology together beautifully. And it's quite a page-turner, too!

What is something on your bucket list?

See the northern lights.
