Frank Cummins (‘13) is an NU and Segal alumnus with nearly a decade of experience in the commercial engineering world. He spent five years launching a successful med-tech venture, COAPT, which develops machine learning control systems for prosthetic arms; while there, he directed their product research and development efforts and brought several new products to market. Currently, he serves as a Systems Engineering Manager for Northrop Grumman, where he oversees the development of new algorithms on aircraft survivability equipment. Frank has a passion for developing products and has a specialization in designing embedded systems and algorithms that enhance product functionality. He enjoys working with diverse teams of students and professionals alike. When he is not working, Frank enjoys creating cocktails to sip with friends and running on Lakeshore Path in downtown Chicago with his wife and their dog -- usually ending at Stan's Donuts.
