Alden BurkeProgram Coordinator, Design for America

About

Driven by the happenings of conversation, and what transpires after an idea is spoken or traced out of the body, Alden's interest in design depends upon the participation of others. Through educational and programmatic environs, her work aims to harnesses the interest of the individual and build community through proximity, intentionality, and vulnerability. Burke received an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. An eager new member of the DFA Community, she is also the Co-Founder of Annas, an artist residency and project space based in East Pilsen.
