About

David is a recent bioengineering grad with a passion for efficient and empowering design. He discovered human-centered design through various student organizations and internships during college. David i eager to gain an understanding of the world around him through the problems of people. He hopes to tackle wicked problems that we face with enjoyable and productive solutions. Outside of the classroom, David enjoys learning about others by exploring Chicagoland’s food and coffee scene or playing soccer. 

Why EDI?

David decided to join EDI to buttress his technical background with a more creative and user-based approach. As an engineer, it is easy to get lost in the technical requirements related to an emerging product or solution and lose sight of the why. David hopes to leverage the EDI program to become a more holistic problem solver and surround himself with like-minded students and faculty.
